Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

Lua Cycle is designed around the principle that your reproductive health data belongs to you and stays with you. This policy explains how that works in practice.

What data we collect

Cycle data you enter — period start/end dates, symptoms, mood, notes, cycle phase, and any other health information you log. This stays on your device and is encrypted with your device passcode.

Anonymous app analytics — basic usage statistics (which screens are opened, app crashes) to improve the app. No personal identifiers attached.

What we don't collect

We do not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, address, phone number, location, or contacts unless you explicitly choose to enable a feature that needs it (e.g., partner sharing). We do not sell your data — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

Apple HealthKit

If you grant permission, Lua Cycle reads and writes to Apple HealthKit (cycle data, sleep, heart rate). HealthKit data stays on-device and follows Apple's strict privacy framework. You can revoke this access in iOS Settings at any time.

Your rights

Export your data: any time, in a standard format. Delete your data: any time, instantly, from inside the app. There is no server-side copy to chase down because we don't store your health data on our servers.

Children

Lua Cycle is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy in any material way, we'll notify users via the app before the changes take effect.
